Four things worth asking first
- Is the web app different from the mobile one?
- The features are the same. The mobile apps add push notifications, Sign in with Apple and Google, and a native map. Discover, activities, walks, the feed and messages are identical on both.
- Does it cost anything?
- V1 is free. No in-app purchases, no subscription, no ads.
- Will my location be public?
- No. The default is "approximate", blurred to roughly 500 m, and what other people see is a distance rounded to 0.1 miles or the name of a public place. There are four location modes and you can switch at any time — the privacy policy has the detail.
- How do I delete my account?
- In the app, under Me → Account → Deactivate or delete, or by emailing support@nihao-pet.com. Your nickname, bio and location are cleared immediately and everything is erased after 30 days.
